Good morning Gang Green Nation! The Jets are talking about building a “quarterback factory”. It’s a nice idea. You draft a quarterback almost every year and develop them, before either installing the guy as a starter or trading him away for draft assets, which you can use to draft more quarterbacks, ad infinitum. The Green Bay Packers used to be a model organization for this idea. In theory it sounds good. But my goodness, perhaps it would be nice to actually show one example of the Jets successfully drafting and developing a quarterback before talking about a factory. Factories churn out goods in vast quantities. The Jets over the last 20 years haven’t managed to churn out one drafted and developed quarterback. Either the Jets are manifesting this into existence, or they’re delusional. You decide.
