The WBO junior flyweight defending titleholder Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez (27-3-1, 14 KOs) scored a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten WBO #2 Shokichi Iwata (9-1, 6 KOs) on Tuesday night at the Saitama Super Arena outside Tokyo, Japan. Gonzalez outboxed the aggressive Iwata to win 117-111, 116-112, 116-112.
