The Arizona Cardinals rumors and news from around the web.

It is lying season and smoke screen season and that means that the rumor mill is flowing.

There are some nuggets coming out that deal directly with the Arizona Cardinals and some that have something to do with the team around the Arizona Cardinals in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Let’s take a look first from ESPN Insider:

Fowler: While the Cardinals at No. 4 can effectively serve as the draft’s pivot point for a trade, teams I’ve spoken to believe the Chargers are eager to trade back at No. 5, too. “The Chargers have made that clear — they want to move back,” an NFL executive said. “They probably want an [offensive] tackle.”

So, teams know that the Cardinals are likely to sit and pick with the fourth pick, meaning the Chargers are open for business.

Graziano: I’ve been told the Giants and Vikings are the two teams that have been most active in discussions with the Patriots about the No. 3 pick, and that if Washington takes Daniels at No. 2, the Giants would be very interested in trading up to No. 3 for Maye.

Again, the Patriots making the move down, right before the Cardinals, so it seems like teams are working around the Cardinals at this point with Monti Ossenfort having set the price for what he would move off the fourth overall pick for.

From Jordan Schultz:

The Cardinals and Monti know what they have in the fourth pick, so unless someone in the top three does not take a quarterback, they have their guy.

So, are the Cardinals making a move, or staying put?

The discussions right now seem to revolve around them sticking and picking at four.
