In an interview given to Telefoot and broadcast this Sunday on TF1Olympique de Marseille’s director of football Javier Ribalta discussed the news of the Olympian club without taboo.
Appointed last summer, the Spaniard admitted that OM wanted to add a new trophy to their showcase this year. “I’m a bit superstitious, so I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but we have to fight to do big things because we’re at a big club”confided the Olympian leader before speaking about the workforce at the disposal of Igor Tudor this season. “It’s very important to have a mix of experienced players who perform right away, and young prospects who can bring us onto the pitch very quickly. Sanchez refused a big contract for OM
During this same interview, Ribalta also went behind the scenes of the arrival of Alexis Sanchez at OM last summer. According TelefootGalatasaray was ready to offer him a net contract of 4 million euros per year but the Chilean striker preferred the Olympian project.
Tudor, a no-brainer
