WWE NXT Draws Lowest Viewership and Key Demo Rating Since Summer Months

This week’s live edition of WWE NXT drew 624,000 viewers on the USA Network, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is down 5.88% from last week’s 663,000 viewers.

Tuesday’s NXT drew a 0.12 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is down 29.41% from last week’s 0.17 rating in the key demo. The 0.12 rating represents 151,000 18-49 viewers, which is down 31.98% from the 222,000 18-49 viewers that last week’s 0.17 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

NXT ranked #50 on the Cable Top 150 this week with the 0.12 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is down from last week’s #26 ranking on cable.

NXT ranked #63 in viewership on cable this week. This is up from last week’s #72 viewership ranking on cable.

Tuesday’s NXT drew the lowest total audience since August 9, the lowest key demo rating since the Great American Bash on July 5, and the lowest key demo viewership since June 28. NXT drew the seventeenth-lowest total audience of the year so far for standard airings, tied with one other episode, and the third-lowest key demo rating of the year so far for standard airings, tied with six other episodes. Sports competition last night included two NBA games on TNT, one FIFA World Cup game on FS1, two FIFA World Cup games on Universo, two FIFA World Cup games on FOX Deportes, two College Basketball games on ESPN, four College Basketball games on ESPN2, and one College Football game on ESPNU. This week’s NXT viewership was down 5.88% from last week, while the key demo rating was down 29.41% from last week.

This week’s NXT viewership was down 0.16% from the episode that aired one year ago, while the 18-49 key demo rating was down 14.28% from the show that aired one year ago.

The NBA game between the Lakers and the Suns on ESPN topped the night in the 18-49 demographic on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.54 rating, also drawing 1.470 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.451 million viewers, also drawing a 0.19 key demo rating.

FBI on CBS topped the night on network TV in viewership with an average of 7.543 million viewers, also drawing a 0.53 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. The Voice on NBC topped the night on network TV in the 18-49 key demo with a 0.62 rating, also drawing 6.185 million viewers.

This week’s NXT show was a live episode from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – Toxic Attraction in the opening segment, Sol Ruca vs. Zoey Stark, the debut of Scrypts, Ivy Nile vs. Kiana James, Wendy Choo vs. Cora Jade, plus NXT North American Champion Wes Lee defending against Carmelo Hayes, which was the main event.
