WWE Monday Night RAW Results 7/19/2021

– The post-Money In the Bank edition of WWE RAW opens live on the USA Network from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, marking the return to touring for WWE’s flagship show. The music hits and out comes John Cena to a massive reaction from the crowd. Cena gets hyped up on the stage before rushing the ring as Mike Rome does the introduction.

Cena tells the rest of the crowd to find their seats. He points out a fan celebrating his 11th birthday in the crowd, and thanks him. Cena says he came to see the fans. He missed this. Cena loves the confusion, the chaos and the electricity. He points to the chants for him and against him, and says everyone is live, and here. Cena goes on about how loud the crowd is and they pop again. He calls it deafening, electric, Monday Night RAW… from Dallas, Texas.

Cena goes on and says he’s here to explain himself after the Money In the Bank return. He says he showed up and ruined the championship celebration of WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Fans boo Reigns’ name. He jokes about the various reactions, from Reigns, Paul Heyman, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. Who brought Cena back to the WWE? The fans did. Cena goes on about how we can finally get together and cheer. The fans brought Cena back… so did Reigns. Fans boo Reigns’ name again. Cena says he’s here for the WWE Universal Title. Cena says the where is SummerSlam at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Why? Here’s where it gets interesting. He mentions headlining a record breaking SummerSlam event, a record breaking 17-time championship win, but it’s not because of any of that… it’s because Reigns is an asshole.

Fans chant “asshole!” now. Cena says he believes Reigns needs to be knocked down a peg. Cena says this pathetic Roman Reigns Experience has gone on long enough. Reigns is an arrogant, self-absorbed, over-hyped, over-protected, over-exposed gimmick who’s not as over as he says he is, and that is coming from Cena, he says. Cena talks about how if you’re really that good, the people will acknowledge you. He gets sections of the crowd to pop and tells Reigns that if you’re great, the fans will tell you. Cena says he will be at SmackDown on Friday and can’t wait to see Reigns.

Cena says let’s get to business now. The music interrupts and out comes Riddle on his scooter. Jimmy Smith welcomes us to RAW now. He’s joined at ringside by Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Riddle hits the ring and kicks his flip-flops off to pyro. Cena and Riddle have a “Bro! Bro?” exchange on the mic. This ends with Cena giving Riddle a fist bump, then making his exit from the ring. Riddle is all smiles as his music starts back up. Cena heads to the back and Riddle waits for his partners as we go to commercial.

Riddle and The Viking Raiders vs. John Morrison and RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos

Back from the break and we will get an Open Challenge from WWE Champion Bobby Lashley tonight, plus a Championship Coronation with new RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. We go back to the ring and out comes John Morrison with The Miz in his wheelchair. They’ve got the Drip Sticks. Morrison has Rome re-announce him as “America’s Moist Wanted” and he has a new t-shirt to match. Miz squirts water at the announcers. Erik and Ivar are in the ring with Riddle. RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos are also out.

AJ and Riddle start out. AJ drops Riddle but Riddle rocks him with a kick, then delivers a back-drop. AJ tags in Morrison as Miz hypes him up from ringside. Morrison catches a kick but Riddle counters with a takedown into a shoulder submission. Riddle and Morrison tangle and show each other up. Morrison with strikes now. Riddle with a big knee. They trade more offense and counters. Riddle with an Exploder suplex for a 2 count.

Erik tags in and levels Morrison with a big knee. Ivar tags in and The Vikings double team Morrison. Erik slams Ivar on top of Morrison for a 2 count. Riddle tags back in and kicks Morrison as Ivar holds him. AJ tags in but Riddle kicks him. Morrison drops Riddle. Morrison dumps Erik and Ivar over the top rope to the floor. Morrison launches himself over the top rope but The Vikings catch him and double team him. AJ runs the ropes and leaps out of the ring with an assist from Omos, taking down The Vikings at ringside. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Omos is dominating Riddle in the middle of the ring. Omos sends Riddle into the corner and then delivers a back splash. Riddle falls to the mat and isn’t moving. Omos tags AJ back in to take over. AJ stops Riddle from tagging, then drops him on his head for a close 2 count. Morrison comes back in to take over on Riddle. Riddle fights back and in comes AJ. Riddle ends up dropping him for an opening. Erik tags in and unloads on AJ with strikes now. Erik with a running knee to the face. AJ blocks a suplex with a knee to the head. They tangle and Erik delivers a knee tot he face. AJ comes right back with a pele kick to drop Erik. They’re both down now.

Morrison and Ivar come in at the same time. They go at it and trade offense but more counters. Ivar levels Morrison with a big clothesline in the middle of the ring for a pop. Ivar with a running senton into the corner. Ivar climbs up to the top rope for a moonsault but Morrison moves out of the way. Morrison follows up with a knee to the face. Morrison misses Starship Pain as Ivar moves. Riddle grabs the Drip Stick from Miz and sprays Omos in the back with it.

Omos turns around and sees Miz with the Drip Stick. Miz pleads and backs up the ramp in his wheelchair. Morrison tries to save Miz but Omos launches Morrison into the ropes. Miz continues pleading with Omos. The Vikings double team Morrison with The Viking Experience and Erik covers for the pin to win.

Winners: Riddle and The Viking Raiders

– After the match, Riddle and The Vikings celebrate as the music hits. AJ and Omos look on from ringside.

– Jaxson Ryker is backstage now, just staring into the camera. We see his Strap Match win over Elias from three weeks ago. Ryker smirks and just says wait until we see what he does to Elias tonight. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and Elias is in the ring. He says there is a truth that will last forever, then delivers his Walk With Elias line. Jaxson Ryker interrupts from the big screen. Ryker says he will interrupt Elias now as everyone else has. He goes on about everyone being sick and tired of Elias always introducing himself, and says after tonight we will no longer have to hear the “Hello, I am Elias…” line ever again.

Symphony of Destruction Falls Count Anywhere Match: Elias vs. Jaxson Ryker

We go back to the ring and Elias waits as Jaxson Ryker makes his way down. We see instruments all over the ringside area.

The bell rings and they go at it. Ryker with offense early on. Elias kicks him and tosses him out of the ring to the floor. A grand piano is right there by Ryker. Elias goes for an electric guitar but Ryker attacks him. Ryker beats Elias around with a keyboard now. Ryker drops Elias on the ground for a 2 count at ringside.

Elias fights back and beats Ryker up with a part of a set of drums. He tosses the piece in the ring but Ryker takes advantage and tosses him into the rest of the drum kit. Ryker talks trash while beating Elias up. Ryker grabs a wooden guitar and leaps off the apron with it but Elias meets him in mid-air with a knee. Elias with a 2 count at ringside.

Elias with another weapon shot. Elias charges at ringside but Ryker side-steps and sends him into a big gong for a pop. Ryker grabs another wooden guitar, kicks Elias in the gut, and then smashes the guitar over his back. The referee checks on Elias and fans pop as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and they’re going at it in the ring. Elias drops Ryker with a big elbow. Elias with chops now. Ryker fights back with rights and lefts. Elias tosses him to the floor. Ryker blocks shots into the ring post, then sends Elias into the post face-first. Ryker grabs another wooden guitar and jabs Elias in the gut with it a few times. Elias tries to use parts of the drum kit but Ryker beats him up against the barrier.

Ryker tries to slam Elias face-first into the lid of the piano but he blocks it. Ryker finally slams Elias. Elias ends up charging but Ryker counters and slams him onto the top of the piano, closing the lid. Ryker pins Elias on top of the piano for a close 2 count. Ryker climbs on top of the piano with Elias and they trade shots now. Elias ends up dropping Ryker on top for a close 2 count. More back and forth between the two at ringside. Elias delivers two big cello shots over the back on the ground but Ryker kicks out at 2. Elias holds Ryker against the ring post, talking trash in his face and beating him up with right hands. Fans chant for tables now.

They bring it back in the ring and Ryker stops Elias from going to the top. Elias looks to suplex Elias in from the apron but he spots a table set up at ringside, and we see what he has in mind. Ryker keeps control and takes Elias up to the second rope. Ryker delivers a huge superplex from the corner, through the table at ringside. He covers for the pin to win.

Winner: Jaxson Ryker

– After the match, Ryker recovers and his music hits as we go to replays. Ryker stares ahead as Elias is laid out.

– Mansoor is backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, talking about he and Mustafa Ali teaming next week. Ali walks up and Deville reveals the plans for next week. Ali says he never said anything about teaming next week, and knows nothing about it. He’s not happy. Mansoor talks about Ali trying to teach him lessons as of late, and says what better way than to stand next to him in a match. Ali ends up agreeing to the match and says Mansoor better not screw this up. WWE United States Champion Sheamus walks up and he’s complaining about Humberto Carrillo, and why he has to face Carrillo again after beating him already. Deville says it’s only fair to give Carrillo a chance to earn a title match. Sheamus don’t be surprised if Carrillo leaves the match in a solid steel mask after Sheamus smashes his face. Sheamus walks off.

– Still to come, the Championship Coronation for Charlotte Flair. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and still to come is the Open Challenge from Bobby Lashley.

– We go back to the ring and out comes new RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair for her Championship Coronation. We see how she won the title from Rhea Ripley at WWE Money In the Bank on Sunday.

Flair says this feels so good and she is so proud to be standing here as your queen. She goes on about how the past year hasn’t been good to us, but she is here now and she is our opportunity. She rips Ripley as a snake and an opportunist. Flair says Ripley can do as many of her moves as she wants but she will never measure up to the original. Flair says we won’t believe the out-pour of texts.

Fans chant for Becky Lynch. Flair says yes, Becky is at home breast feeding while she is here dominating the women’s divisions. Flair goes back to talking about all the congratulatory messages she received last night. Flair says the win makes her the one-time and final Divas Champion, a five-time RAW Women’s Champion and five-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, making her the only 11-time women’s champion in WWE. Flair goes on about how she can beat Ripley any night of the week, and if she had the opportunity she’d beat Ripley… the music interrupts and out comes Ripley.

Ripley enters the ring and asks Flair if she thinks she can beat her any night of the week, why not tonight? Fans pop. Flair says Ripley is in no shape to fight after what Flair did to her knee last night. She mocks Ripley for how she was hurting last night, and declines. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville interrupt from the stage. Deville congratulates Flair on the incredible accomplishment. Deville brings up what Flair just said about beating Ripley on any night. Pearce makes it official – the rematch will take place tonight. Flair delivers a cheap shot and kicks Ripley’s knee out.

Flair goes to ringside as her music hits. Deville and Pearce check on Ripley from the floor while Ripley is down in the corner clutching her knee. Flair makes her exit, having words with Ripley, as she makes her exit.

– We get a look back at the Women’s Ladder Match at Money In the Bank. Alexa Bliss appears back at her playground and says she will have a special guest tonight.

#1 Contender’s Match: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka for this non-title match. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and this #1 contender’s match is underway. Shayna Baszler is going at it with Natalya. Nia Jax watches from the apron. Baszler ends up leveling Natalya with a big knee for a 2 count after Jax drives Tamina into the barrier with a Samoan Drop. It’s indicated on commentary that Jax and Baszler will earn a title shot if they win this match.

Jax tags in and splashes Natalya in the corner now. Baszler takes back over and drops Natalya in the corner for a 2 count. Baszler bends Natalya’s wrist back and stomps on it now. Natalya ends up fighting back and in comes Jax. Natalya clotheslines her but Jax comes back and levels her. Baszler tags in and taunts Natalya while she’s down, talking trash.

Tamina finally returns to the apron from the Samoan Drop. Natalya drops Baszler and in comes Tamina. Tamina knocks Jax off the apron but Baszler rolls her for 2. Baszler with kicks but Tamina elbows her, then slams her. Tamina goes to the top but Reginald distracts her from the apron, allowing Baszler to bring Tamina down.

Natalya goes for Reginald but she goes down at ringside. Tamina ends up superkicking Baszler as she’s distracted by Reginald. Tamina covers Baszler for the pin to win.

Winners: Natalya and Tamina Snuka

– After the match, the champs head to the back as their music hits. Baszler is fed up with Reginald. She has words with Jax and Reggie in the middle of the ring now. Fans chant for Baszler. Jax suddenly turns on Reginald and sends him to the mat with a headbutt. Jax talks some trash as some fans boo. Baszler says she warned Reggie. Baszler and Jax head to the back as fans chant “Reggie sucks!” now. WWE 24/7 Champion Akira Tozawa runs to the ring now, chased by Lucha House Party and others. He stands tall and taunts them. Reggie comes from behind and ends up pinning Tozawa for the title after they briefly go at it. We go to replays as Reggie flips around and up to the stage to pose with the title, jumping over the others to escape.

#1 Contender’s Match: WWE United States Champion Sheamus vs. Humberto Carrillo

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE United States Champion Sheamus. Back to commercial after a look at his recent feud with Humberto Carrillo.

Back from the break and it’s announced that WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross will make his RAW debut tonight. Sheamus waits in the ring as Carrillo comes out to try and earn a title shot. We see recent happenings between the two Superstars.

The bell rings and Carrillo attacks as they go at it. Sheamus ends up on the floor and Carrillo launches himself out for a takedown. Carrillo beats Sheamus around but Sheamus drops him as they return to the ring. Carrillo fights off a suplex attempt from the apron. Carrillo drops Sheamus over the top rope. Carrillo with a top rope crossbody for 2.

Sheamus responds with aggressive strikes but Carrillo unloads in the corner, stomping away as the referee warns him. We see Damian Priest watching the match backstage. Carrillo continues to dominate Sheamus in the corner.

Carrillo tries to pull Sheamus’ mask off. Sheamus fights back but gets dumped over the top rope to the floor. Carrillo runs the ropes for a dive but Sheamus meets him at the ropes with right hands. Sheamus with a powerbomb on the edge of the apron. Sheamus stands tall at ringside and asks the crowd if they’re entertained. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Sheamus dominates now. Sheamus grounds Carrillo and applies the Dublin Smile. We see Priest watching backstage again, concerned. Sheamus with 10 Beats of the Bodhrán now. Sheamus stands tall and poses to a mixed reaction.

Sheamus with more offense but Carrillo comes back with kicks. Sheamus drops him with a boot from the corner. Carrillo kicks Sheamus as Sheamus tends to his finger. Carrillo climbs up for a hurricanrana, then kicks Sheamus to the floor. Carrillo with a suicide dive, sending Sheamus over the announce table. Carrillo brings it back in the ring and goes to the top for a missile dropkick. Sheamus kicks out at 2. More back and forth now. Carrillo apparently hurts his hand with a shot to Sheamus’ face mask. Sheamus comes right back with a Brogue Kick for the pin to win.

Winner: Sheamus

– After the match, Sheamus stands tall with the title as his music hits. We go to replays.

– We get a look at how Bobby Lashley dominated Kofi Kingston at Money In the Bank.

Open Challenge for the WWE Title: Keith Lee vs. Bobby Lashley

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Champion Bobby Lashley with MVP. Lashley hits the ring and poses in the corner as the pyro goes off. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Lashley takes the mic. He says he did all the talking he needed to do last night when he destroyed Kofi Kingston, so no more talking. MVP takes the mic and taunts the Dallas crowd for being fans of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. He goes on about how Lashley made a statement at the expense of Kofi last night. He talks about how Kofi’s recent words on Lashley going soft actually lit a fire within Lashley. MVP says whoever answers this challenge tonight will be annihilated. MVP declares that no one will take this WWE Title from Lashley. No more women, no more champagne, no more fun and games, as Lashley said – no more bullshit. MVP says they are back to business. He goes on hyping Lashley up and Lashley asks who’s going to be the one to answer this challenge.

Some fans chant for WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg. The music interrupts and out comes Keith Lee making his return. Lashley looks a bit shocked but also annoyed. Lee heads to the ring to somewhat of a big pop from his home state crowd. Lee enters the ring and faces off with Lashley as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Ripley vs. Flair is hyped for later. The bell rings now as Lashley and Lee stare each other down. Some Goldberg chants come from the crowd. They lock up and tangle into the ropes, the corner and out. They break and lock back up. Lashley mounts offense but Lee over-powers and rams him into the corner, then again into the opposite corner for a pop. Lee with some offense off his feet now, including a big crossbody for a pop.

Lashley blocks a Spirit Bomb attempt and drops Lee on his face. MVP taunts the crowd and they boo back. Lashley works Lee over on the ropes now as MVP taunts him. Lashley with more offense and a big running shoulder thrust in the corner. Lashley sends Lee to the floor with a clothesline. Lee lands on his feet but he’s dazed. Lashley follows and they go at it on the floor. Lee fights back but Lashley drives him back into the barrier from the ring. The referee counts. Lashley runs around the ring and delivers a big running Spear on the floor.

Lashley stands tall at ringside as MVP hypes him up. Lashley brings it back in the ring and mounts Lee with strikes. The referee checks on Lee and Graves says the match should be called as Lee isn’t moving. Lashley stands over Lee now and goes for The Hurt Lock as he gets up. Lee over-powers and blocks the hold for a pop but Lashley comes right back and drops him. Lashley waits for Lee to get back up and then delivers a Spear for the pin to win.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

– After the match, Lashley stands tall as his music hits. We go to replays. Lashley stands tall and poses until the music hits and out comes WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg to a big pop. Goldberg hits the ring and gets in Lashley’s face. Goldberg laughs and declares that he is next. Lashley wants to fight but MVP holds him back to end the segment.

– Still to come, Ripley vs. Flair.

– Back from the break and MVP is backstage with Bobby Lashley. Kevin Patrick approaches and asks if they have a response. MVP says Goldberg disrespected them and they won’t even dignify what he did with a response.

– Jinder Mahal is in the ring with Veer and Shanky now. Jinder says today is his birthday and it gets even better as Drew McIntyre is not Mr. Money In the Bank. Jinder shows us how Veer and Shanky interrupted the Jinder vs. Drew match two weeks ago, to triple team Drew. We also see how Jinder thought he had Drew’s family sword last week, but it was a replica, then how Drew destroyed his motorcycle. Jinder talks about how karma always comes back around. He shows us how they attacked Drew at Money In the Bank and pulled him out of the match.

Jinder says he can buy 10 motorcycles but Drew will never have a WWE Title shot as long as Bobby Lashley is champion. Jinder allows Shanky to sing him Happy Birthday now. Drew appears from behind with a chair, taking Jinder down with a shot to the back. Drew then takes out Veer with the chair. Shanky pleads with him. Drew snaps and unloads on Shanky with steel chair shots now. Jinder and Veer plead and yell from the ramp. Fans want more from Drew. He tosses the destroyed chair away, then brings another one in the ring. Drew stares out at Jinder and then unloads on Shanky with more chair shots.

– The announcers lead us to a video package on Karrion Kross.

NXT Champion Karrion Kross vs. Jeff Hardy

We go back to the ring and out comes NXT Champion Karrion Kross. There is no sign of Scarlett. Kross will face Jeff Hardy next in a non-title match. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes Hardy to his old theme. The bell rings and Kross dominates early on. Kross launches Hardy with a big suplex overhead. Kross with another big suplex and stomp. Kross yells at Hardy about owning him, then delivers another big suplex. Kross charges but Hardy moves and Kross hits the ring post. Hardy drops Kross with a Twist of Fate. Hardy goes to the top for a Swanton Bomb but Kross moves. Kross readies in the corner now, waiting for Hardy to get up.

Kross charges with the forearm but Hardy ducks and grabs him. Kross backs him into the corner with back elbows. Kross mounts Hardy in the corner but Hardy powerbombs him to the mat and holds it for the pin to win.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

– After the match, Hardy quickly heads to the ramp as his music hits. Kross is shocked. We go to replays. Patrick interviews Kross in the ring after the match and asks his thoughts on what happened. Kross says Hardy just made the biggest mistake of his life because in the end… everyone will fall and pray. The music starts up as Kross exit the ring and grabs the NXT Title belt, then heads to the back.

– Alexa Bliss is backstage for another episode of Alexa’s Playground. She admits she;s sore from Money In the Bank but that’s OK because she has a special guest. She welcomes Lilly back, fresh out of time out. Lilly is also on a swing. Thing got out of control last time but now Lilly has promised to be on her best behavior. Eva Marie and Doudrop interrupt. Eva asks if this is a joke and thought Doudrop tossing Bliss around last week would’ve taught her a lesson. Bliss ignores them but then says hello to Doudrop. Drop says hello back and Eva tells her not to. Eva threatens to have Drop trash Lilly at one point in a trash can. Eva doesn’t want to waste her time with Bliss or Lilly. The segment ends with Eva falling down as she goes to walk off, apparently by Bliss’ power, or Lilly. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and announced for next week is The Viking Raiders vs. RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos with the titles on the line.

RAW Women’s Title Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair

We go back to the ring for tonight’s main event, a rematch from Money In the Bank. Rhea Ripley is out, as is RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. They face off as we go back to commercial.

The bell rings and they go at it. Flair takes Ripley down but Ripley fights back. Ripley with hard shoulder thrusts in the corner now as the referee warns her. Flair fights back and takes Ripley down by the arm from the apron. They trade big forearms on their feet now in the middle of the ring. Ripley with a one-legged dropkick. Ripley grounds Flair now.

Ripley with knee strikes. Flair turns it around out of the corner with chops. Flair sends Ripley face-first into the turnbuckles. Ripley counters a suplex with a roll-up for 2. Ripley counters and delivers a German suplex in the middle of the ring. Ripley with a running dropkick for another 2 count. Flair counters a whip into the corner, then sends Ripley over the top rope to the floor. Flair stops Ripley from re-entering the ring. Ripley lands on her hurt leg at ringside.

Flair follows and nails a chop block to take Ripley back down from behind. Ripley clutches her knee but Flair rolls her back in. The referee holds Flair off as he checks on Ripley. Flair tries to stay on Ripley but the referee backs her off. Ripley is down in the corner as the referee checks on her. We go back to commercial.
