New Japan Pro Wrestling has opened up the voting selection for the upcoming KOPW 2022 title match between Shingo Takagi and El Phantasmo, which takes place at the October 28th Rumble On 4th Street event. El Phantasmo has proposed a New York City Streetfight, while Takagi has suggested a Last Daddy Standing (Last Man) matchup.
NJPW issued the following press release on the bout below.
“After a series of violent attacks in Korakuen Hall started the Battle Autumn tour, stipulations have now been proposed for El Phantasmo and Shingo Takagi’s rematch over the KOPW 2022 trophy on October 28!
Challenger El Phantasmo has proposed a New York City Streetfight! With no DQs, or countouts, anything goes in this match type.
Holder Shingo Takagi has suggested Last Daddy Standing! The only way to end the match will be by doing enough damage to win by ten count KO.”
