Unexpected twist, PSG turns its back on Skriniar

on

PSG management has changed its mind about the recruitment of Slovak defender Milan Skriniar.

PSG were ready to bet this winter on the central defender of Inter Milan, Milan Skriniar. Finally, the Ile-de-France management decided that it was not appropriate to make this transfer now. The club has other priorities.

The management of PSG had to make a choice

Rather than putting 20 to 25 million euros on the table for a player they could have free next summer, Paris officials would like to strengthen themselves in the offensive sector. According to L’Equipe, their priority is to secure the services of a winger who plays on the right side and who is able to return on his left foot.

Pablo Sarabia having been released in favor of Wolverhampton, Paris is forced to strengthen itself in this sector. Christophe Galtier, the coach, reminded him again on Monday after the Cup match.

Thuram will not come to PSG

The French champion is therefore ready to return to the transfer market, but there is no question of splurging either. Due to financial fair play, the investment in the famous winger should not exceed €10m.

It remains to be seen which player is able to satisfy Luis Campos. The ideal would have been to secure the services of the French international Marcus Thuram. But, the latter is not available for this sum. Paris will therefore have to bet less big.
