Tiger Woods had until 11:00 p.m. French time on Friday to formalize his new appearance on the PGA Tour circuit by lining up for the Players Championship. After his 45th place at the Genesis Invitational in mid-February, the Tiger finally wisely decided to postpone his return by skipping the tournament considered the 5th Major of the season.

Authorized to start at Ponte Vedra Beach thanks to his victory at the Masters in 2019, in a tournament he won in 2001 and 2013, the star of the fairways ultimately remains at eighteen participations on the TPC Sawgrass route.

It is therefore at the Augusta Masters, the first Major of the season scheduled from April 6 to 9, that the 47-year-old Californian will drive back the fairways in competition.
