World golf is finding a slightly more classic rhythm. The PGA Tour is heading to California. At the same time, the LPGA will kick off its season in Florida. The DP World Tour will remain in Abu Dhabi (after the Hero Cup) for its first stroke play event of the calendar year.

The PGA Tour is back on dry land after two weeks in the Hawaiian archipelago. Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm and Tony Finau will be the headliners of this tournament played on a sublime par 72 in California designed by the late Pete Dye.
DP World Tour: Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, Yas Links Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
From January 19 to 22
19 of the 20 players (minus Thomas Detry) who competed in the Hero Cup will be at the start of the first Rolex Series of the season. They will find Henrik Stenson and a host of LIV players there. In addition to Victor Perez and Antoine Rozner, the French contingent will count in its ranks Matthieu Pavon, Julien Brun, Julien Guerrier and Victor Dubuisson. This tournament will also mark the return of Alex Levy (photo) after nearly eleven months of absence. Romain Langasque will miss the call after forgetting to register.
LPGA Tour: Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, Lake Nona G. and C.C., Orlando, Florida
From January 19 to 22
They will be 29 for this first event of the season reserved for the best players of the year 2022. Céline Boutier will be in good company alongside Nelly Korda, Leona Maguire and Danielle Kang, defending champion. Lydia Ko and Atthaya Thitikul are the main absentees from this first meeting of the year in Florida.
