SmackDown’s rating rises against Collision

WWE and AEW went head-to head on Fri., Nov. 17, but neither company made a big deal out of it. Probably because they knew there was no ratings battle this time with SmackDown on FOX & averaging more than 2 million viewers and Collision on TNT & lately hovering around an audience of 400,000.

According to Wrestlenomics, they were right. SmackDown had a total audience of 2,206,000 with a .62 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. Both numbers are up from the previous week, the demo rating considerably so.

Collision had 270,000 viewers and did a .08 in 18-49. Both are down… not surprising seeing as it was moving nights, and the impact going head-to-head with WWE’s had on the show.

After SmackDown went off the air, Rampage came on TNT and did better than Collision. In its normal timeslot, that show had 280,000 viewers and did a .09 in the demo.

This week, SmackDown’s Survivor Series go home episode will be on FS1 while FOX has college football on Black Friday. Collision will be back in its usual spot on Saturday
