Sean Dyche is Everton’s new manager

Sean Dyche is back in service, and directly in the Premier League! Everton have just confirmed the appointment of the 51-year-old coach on his bench, after having sacked Frank Lampard on January 23. “Everton Football Club can confirm the appointment of Sean Dyche as the new manager of the club’s senior men’s team. Dyche has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract until June 2025”, indicates the press release of the Toffees for the occasion. This will be the third club coached by Dyche, after Watford and Burnley.

Without a club since leaving Turf Moor in April 2022, when the Clarets were also playing maintenance in the elite, Sean Dyche will have the heavy task of raising the bar for a team that has been sick for many months. The English technician with a clear personality will have a lot to do for his first match on the side of Goodison Park, since Everton, 19th in the Premier League, will host leader Arsenal on Saturday February 4.
