Little could be done to hunt down the leader, the Danish Thorbjorn Olesen, who finally won the tournament four strokes ahead of the German Yannik Paul. Only Nicolai Hojgaard came to disturb the final winner, who put land in the middle with three birdies in a row.

What’s more, Olesen signed the best lap of the day at Amata Spring Chon Buri in Bangkok, thanks to his 66 impacts. Third were the Dutchman Joost Luiten and the German Alexander Knappe. Rafa finished seven strokes behind the leader.

Pablo Larrazábal finished in 38th place (-8), Alejandro del Rey was 46th (-7) and Adrián Otaegui and Jorge Campillo, 66th (-3).
