Race To Hull: Crunch Time For Wilson

on

This week’s WST Classic is the final qualifying event in the race to make it to the Bonus Arena in Hull for one of the biggest events of the season, the Duelbits Tour Championship, which runs from March 27 to April 2.

Tickets for the final of the Duelbits Tour Championship have SOLD OUT and other sessions are selling rapidly. CLICK HERE for ticket details

LATEST UPDATE: 11.30am Wednesday. The race to Hull has come down to a single match! Gary Wilson has beaten Lukas Kleckers 4-1 in the quarter-finals and will now meet either Oliver Lines  or Pang Junxu in the semis. If he reaches that final, he earns a spot in the Duelbits Tour Championship and knocks out Ding Junhui. That would also give Wilson a top 16 seeding at the Crucible for the first time in his career, so it’s a massive moment for the Tyneside Terror. The semis start at 2.30pm.

Only the elite top eight players on the one-year ranking list will make it to Hull. The top seven are safe: Mark Allen, Shaun Murphy, Ali Carter, Kyren Wilson, Ryan Day, Robert Milkins and Mark Selby.
