Wolverhampton would like to secure the services of Pablo Sarabia, this transfer window. Julen Lopetegui’s club, who knows him well, have already sent a proposal to PSG.
According to information collected by the newspaper AS, Wolverhampton have made known their interest in Pablo Sarabia at PSG. The English club would even have already taken action: it would have sent a proposal, the amount of which has not yet been communicated.
Julen Lopetegui, Wolves coach, knows the Parisian player well. The technician led him in the Spanish youth selections. Paris should be tempted by the idea of letting him go, while his playing time turns out to be reduced. Some sources even claim that he has been placed on the transfer list.
Three other players pushed out?
This season, Pablo Sarabia has played 19 games, including only 6 as a starter. The native of Madrid has never managed to be decisive. Last year, the player was loaned to Sporting, where he shone (21 goals and 10 assists in 45 games). He could be tempted by a departure, by the end of the transfer window. PSG paid 18 million to bring him from Seville in 2019.
Wolverhampton are also struggling. The formation coached by Julen Lopetegui currently occupies the 19e position in the standings, with 14 points obtained in 18 days. The Wolves are not yet won, since the 13e position is only 2 points away.
PSG meanwhile seems set to experience a calm transfer window in the direction of arrivals. Luis Campos would nevertheless like him to be active in terms of departures. Keylor Navas, Sergio Rico and Renato Sanches (who arrived last summer) would be pushed out.
