Last Saturday, Morocco played a prestigious friendly match against Brazil. Remained silent until then, the native of Casablanca confided in his injury via social networks.

“As you can see I suffered an injury during the friendly match against Brazil. X-rays have diagnosed a broken toe that requires surgery. I will be forced to be away from the field for a few months. I am obviously disappointed not to be able to accompany my teammates in the final sprint but I will do my best to be ready for the start of next season. Recruited last summer by the Olympian leaders against a check for 8 million euros and under contract until June 2027, Azzedine Ounahi took part in nine matches in all competitions with the club based in the Bouches-du-Rhône, for seven games and one goal in Ligue 1.
