OM: Atlético Madrid advance their pawns for Clauss

Already interested in Jonathan Clauss in the past, Atlético Madrid would consider returning to the charge. The Colchoneros would request a loan with option to buy.

According to information obtained by journalist Nizaar Kinsella, who works with the London Evening Standard, Atlético Madrid has reopened the case of Jonathan Clauss. Discussions are underway with those around him for a possible loan with option to buy this winter, or even a transfer next summer.

Interestingly, Chelsea had been tracking Jonathan Clauss under the previous owner. His age profile isn’t right under the current regime.

OM shouldn’t let him go

Arrived last summer for 7.5 million euros, Jonathan Clauss has performed very well with OM this season. The native of Strasbourg played 16 Ligue 1 games, for 1 goal and 7 assists.
