On the sidelines of the friendly match between Seleçao and Morocco in Tangier on Saturday evening (1-2), the president of the Brazilian Football Federation, Ednaldo Rodrigues, spoke about the search for a new coach with the agency Press Reuters. The opportunity for the leader to deny any contact with Carlo Ancelotti.
The CBF will be “very ethical in (its) approaches and respects the contracts that are in place” even if “Carlo Ancelotti is the favorite of the players but also, it seems, of the fans”, declared the president in particular, ensuring that the Federation had not (yet) contacted the Italian. Note that Brazil would like to start discussions with the various candidates for the position around mid-April and thus announce the name of the new coach at the end of May, with a view to the next gathering in June.
