Mercato: PSG receives an unlikely offer

Injured since his arrival at AS Roma, Georginio Wijnaldum has never really been able to start his adventure with the club of the Italian capital. Consequently, it is unlikely that La Louve will exercise its purchase option estimated at €8m. But Roma have reportedly made a rather surprising offer to PSG for the Dutch midfielder.

Arrived free from liverpool during the summer of 2021, Georginio Wijnaldum had all the good business for the PSG who managed to beat the FC Barcelona in the last line of negotiations. Nevertheless, the Dutch midfielder never managed to win in Paris and was therefore loaned to theAS Roma last summer.

However Georginio Wijnaldum quickly suffered a very big blow. A few days after arriving at theAS Roma, the Dutch midfielder was indeed the victim of a broken tibia. An injury that even deprived him of the World Cup. But Wijnaldum would see the end of the tunnel since his return is close.

Nevertheless, theAS Roma should not exercise its purchase option estimated at €8 million. A blow for the PSG, and the Italian club would like to take advantage of it. Indeed, according to Il Tempothe Roman sports director Rui Pinto would have probed the Parisians concerning a possible termination of the contract of Wijnaldum who could then disembark free at the Rome. As a reminder, the Dutchman’s lease runs until 2024.
