The future of Jonathan David seems to be moving away from LOSC. While he had already caught the eye of several European clubs last season, the Canadian has revealed himself a little more globally in Qatar, with his selection. Linked until June 2025 with Lille, his status as the fourth top scorer in Ligue 1 this season (9 goals in 15 matches) gives him some credibility.

For Paulo Fonseca, the Lille manager, the Dogues striker should not stay at the club next season, and in the event of a good offer, LOSC should not retain him. “It’s going to be complicated to keep Jonathan David next season, because there aren’t many goalscorers like Jonathan in Europe and he’s only 22. I think the biggest clubs will try to buy him.”he assured the Voice of the North. For his part, Jonathan David has never hidden his wish to one day discover the Premier League.
