Greg Norman reacted to criticism of Tiger Woods: He doesn’t know the facts

on

In a recent episode of Fox News Channel’s One Nation with Brian Kilmeade, Greg Norman had an interesting guest appearance. During the discussion, one of the topics that came up was Tiger Woods and his comments about Greg Norman. Tiger Woods wants Norman to resign as CEO of LIV Golf. It is unlikely that this will happen any time soon. As a result of such comments from the golf legend, Norman is extremely frustrated. Woods has been loyal to the PGA Tour his entire career, and he criticizes what LIV Golf is doing on the golf scene whenever he gets a chance. His ‘partner in crime’ is Rory McIlroy. According to the Northern Irishman, he is not happy with the way things are going in the golf world, and the fault lies with LIV Golf for everything that appears to be going wrong. Despite the criticism he receives, Greg Norman seems to be handling it well.

Greg Norman’s reaction

“I think it’s sad for Tiger that unfortunately, he made a comment that he doesn’t know the facts about because obviously, I’m still here,” Norman said. “Obviously, he doesn’t control what we do within LIV. So just making those comments, I think, is an indication that he might be a bit of a mouthpiece for the PGA Tour to try to get us to create turmoil created internally within LIV. But it’s not happening. We are fully entrenched. We know where we’re going. We know what we’re doing.”- Greg Norman said, as quoted by insidehook.com

The conflict between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour started with the creation of LIV Golf. Both Tours want supremacy on the golf scene, and this naturally resulted in a conflict between them. The matter will not be resolved anytime soon. Many believe that this will have a negative effect on golf, while there are also those who believe that conflict between them can only bring good.
