on

Lorenzo Musetti says he is grateful for the life he is living and there is nothing to complain about in his life.

Musetti, 20, is enjoying a career-high ranking of No 23 in the world.

Musetti, who is one of the most promising and talented players in the world, is hoping to one day become a Grand Slam champion and reach the top spot.

By being a professional tennis player, Musetti is able to make good money and also visit places around the world.

“I wake up because I like to live, you know? I like to share good moments with my family when I’m at home. When I’m in the tournament, I like to stay in the tour, I like to visit (places), I like to see something new. I have everything I need; I’m happy with the job I’ve decided. I’m happy with my family, my friends. I cannot complain (about anything),” Musetti told the Australian Open website.

Musetti happy with his journey

In 2019, Musetti won the Australian Open boys’ singles title.

Nearly four years later, Musetti is a pro tennis player and ranked just outside the top-20 in the world.

Musetti admits his journey hasn’t been all smooth but he is happy that everything is trending in the right direction for him.

“Not everything is smooth, but I think I had a really good process. I was always like really fast on the results, I was really a kid when I started to make good results. So I think also the results, and the fact that I was playing really good for my age, it helped me to stick with tennis,” Musetti reflected.

This past summer, Musetti captured his first ATP title after stunning Carlos Alcaraz in the Hamburg final.

In October, Musetti collected his second title as he beat fwllow compatriot Matteo Berrettini in the Naples final.

It remains to be seen what Musetti can do in 2023.
