Dr Semir Osmanagic: Novak Djokovic is a role model for all humanity

on

Doctor of social science Semir Osmanagic thinks Novak Djokovic is the ultimate model to the young generations and humanity of how one should act and behave.

12 months ago, Djokovic experienced the most difficult and challenging moment of his life when he was detained and ultimately deported from Australia.

On Sunday, Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Australian Open final to win a record 10th title at Melbourne Park.

After the Australia visa debacle, Djokovic kept telling positive things about Australia.

Then, Djokovic returned to Australia and won the title again.

Osmanagic is the founder of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, the place which Djokovic frequently visits.

Osmanagic: Djokovic is a model for all humanity

“TRIUMPH OF NOVAK DJOKOVIC’S LIFE. Novak Djokovic has completed an important life cycle by winning the Australian Open tennis grand slam tournament. It was his record tenth triumph in Melbourne and twenty-second grand slam, confirming the title of the best tennis player ever. But, this is also his triumph in life. In January 2022 he was unable to play in Australia although his visa was previously approved. Discriminatory bans on tournaments in the US followed and the denial of points earned by his title at Wimbledon. Instead of the whole of 2022. He stays at the top of the tennis rankings, politically that right has been taken away from him. Despite the triumph in Australia put things back in place, Novak is number one again and his stay on the throne by the number of weeks will not be reached for a long time. And, although he was psychologically shaken by his treatment in Australia, looking from a timeless perspective, Novak gained world fame and respect as a man of principles. He made his choice by not imposing his opinion on others. Let’s remember his gentleman statements about Australia, the organizers of the tennis tournament, the audience and the general public in this country. Not one gesture, not one word, bitterness was felt, but he always showed his human respect. Who today remembers the names of Australia’s prime ministers or their Immigration and Sports ministers from January 2022? And for a good reason, almost no one. Novak winning the title a year later is more than a game. That was his fate and the reward for the man who dared to fulfill his life potential, regardless of all the difficulties that followed him. Novak Djokovic is not only the best sportsman of the Balkans and Europe of all times, but also a role model to young generations and all humanity,” Osmanagic wrote in a lengthy Facebook post.
