Christophe Galtier’s big announcement on his future

This Saturday evening, the Parisian season ended with a very symbolic defeat against Clermont at the Parc des Princes (2-3). PSG, although Champion of France for the 11th time in its history, has only disappointed this season. Executives not at the level, an unattractive style of play and obviously extra-sporting controversies. In all this, Christophe Galtier has not been spared at all. Like Messi or Neymar, the French technician is the target of Parisian supporters who have been demanding his departure for several months.

At the microphone of Canal +, Christophe Galtier spoke at length about his season and the lessons he learned from it. “I learned to rub shoulders with great players, we had very good times together, we had difficult times when we had to hang on with a lot of injuries. For several months, his future seems closed. With the results and the many controversies, it is a miracle to see Galtier continue at PSG for another season. And while the French press announced this Friday the closed departure of Galtier, the main interested party does not yet seem to be aware. “An echo from the club? None. I read this information given by the newspaper L’Equipe and I spoke with Luis Campos during the day and he agreed that we would see each other at the beginning of the week to take stock of this season and afterwards, we will see what are the decisions we will make with management. (…) I have had no discussions with the president. (…) There is no reason that I am not motivated to continue at PSG. A statement which is also in line with what Luis Campos said before the match at the microphone of Canal + since he also explained that he had not decided the fate of his coach for the moment.
