Charlie Woods on Tiger: “I’ve found a new respect for him”

on

PNC Championship is one of the competitions that many of us have been looking forward to for a long time. Tiger Woods and his son Charlie are particularly interesting characters of this competition, more precisely; the most interesting. The interesting thing about Charlie’s first match is that he rolled his ankle before he played the game. In addition to his injury, everyone knows that Tiger has injury problems. Despite this, both of them did a great job during the first match, and we will have to wait and see what happens next. After the match, Charlie Woods spoke about his injury and the respect he has for his father.

“I’ve found a new respect for him now after getting a very minor injury – I wouldn’t call it an injury; I’m just hurt,” Charlie said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com. “But just to see what he’s going through and how I have just a fraction of it … and it’s just cool how he’s gotten to where he is now after all he’s been through.”

Tiger Woods on injuries

However, Tiger Woods shows how mentally and physically strong he is. Such injuries do not worry him too much. Even under pain, he still wants to play. His son will have a great role model and we have no doubt that he will be a great player like his father.

“There’s a big difference between pain and injury, and this is just pain. If you’re injured, you’re not playing. This is just a little bit of pain, and it’s game time, so we just go out there and we suck it up together. As I said over here, we’re the perfect ying and yang; he’s got a left foot (injury), I’ve got a right foot (injury), so we’ve got two good feet, we’re good.”- Tiger Woods said.
