Benjamin Mendy was found not guilty on Friday of six rapes and a sexual assault by British justice after five months of trial. A decision synonymous with enormous relief for those close to the player but commented on more cautiously by Manchester City.
The Citizens issued a statement on Friday in reaction to the Chester court verdict on the heavy charges against the France international. “As things stand, caution is advised as Benjamin Mendy will be retried on two charges.
