Barça: three recently arrived players placed on the transfer list

on

Raphinha, Barca FC Barcelona

According to the information published by Sport, Barça have placed three players on the transfer list, with a view to the winter transfer window. Raphinha, Franck Kessié and Hector Bellerin could leave in January, provided the club finds them exit doors.

Xavi changed his mind about Raphinha

Hector Bellerin and Franck Kessié have only little playing time. The right-back has only played 5 games in all competitions since the start of the season. The midfielder has played 13, but has started only 5 times. The Iberian press has already mentioned their possible departures. The Spaniard has a contract running until 2023 and should not pose any major problems for his leaders. But the former AC Milan player has already replied through the voice of his agent that he does not plan to leave. However, his commitment extends until June 2026…

Raphinha’s inclusion on the transfer list is more surprising. The soap opera linked to his signature lasted for weeks last summer. The Brazilian international (16 caps, 5 goals) seems to have disappointed his coach, Xavi, who had nevertheless gone out of his way to bring him in. The native of Porto Alegre played 18 games in the first half of the season, including only 10 as a starter. He scored 2 goals and delivered 4 assists.

Joan Laporta has recently explained that La Liga have set limits on the use of levers and Barca are back against the wall again. The big expenses incurred last summer seem to be starting to pay off. The blaugrana formation has indeed opened the floodgates at a time when it seemed rather necessary to close them…
