AEW Rampage Viewership and Key Demo Rating for Full Gear Go-Home Show, Full Gear Countdown Numbers

Friday’s live Full Gear go-home edition of AEW Rampage drew an average of 445,000 viewers on TNT, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is down 2.41% from the previous week’s taped episode, which drew 456,000 viewers.

Rampage drew a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 key demographic on Friday. This is up 21.42% from the previous week’s episode, which drew a 0.11 rating in the key demo. Friday’s 0.14 key demo rating represents 180,000 18-49 viewers, which is up 25.87% from the 143,000 18-49 viewers that the previous week’s 0.11 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

Friday’s Rampage ranked #17 for the night on the Cable Top 150 with the 0.14 key demo rating. This is up from the previous week’s #55 ranking.

Friday’s Rampage ranked #77 in viewership for the night on cable. This is up from the previous week’s #81 ranking.

Friday’s Rampage drew the thirteenth-lowest total audience of the year so far for a regular timeslot airing, and the seventh-lowest key demo rating of the year so far for a regular timeslot airing. Sports competition from Friday included two NBA games on ESPN, two College Basketball games on FS1, five College Basketball games on ESPN2, one College Basketball game on ESPNU, one College Football game on FS1, and B1G Women’s Volleyball on Big Ten Network. Friday’s Rampage viewership was down 2.41% from the previous week’s episode, and the key demo rating was up 21.42% from the previous week.

This week’s Rampage viewership was down 19.96% from the same week in 2021. The key demo rating was down 36.36% from the previous year.

The thirty-minute Countdown To AEW Full Gear preview special aired at 11pm on TNT, drawing 234,000 viewers and a 0.06 key demo rating. The special ranked #85 for the night on the Cable Top 150 for the 0.06 key demo rating, and #108 for the night on cable in viewership. The viewership for Friday’s preview special is up 2.18% from the 229,000 viewers that Countdown To AEW All Out drew back in September, and the key demo rating for Friday’s show is up 50% from the 0.04 key demo rating that the September special drew.

The NBA game between the Knicks and the Warriors on ESPN topped the night on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.51 key demo rating, also drawing 1.472 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.318 million viewers, also drawing a 0.19 key demo rating for the #8 spot on the Cable Top 150.

Blue Bloods on CBS topped the night on network TV in viewership with an average of 5.818 million viewers, also drawing a 0.42 key demo rating. WWE SmackDown on FOX topped the night on network TV in the 18-49 key demo with a 0.56 rating, also drawing 2.232 million viewers.

Friday’s AEW Rampage aired live from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – the go-home build for Full Gear, Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer in a World Title Eliminator match, Athena vs. Madison Rayne, FTW Champion Hook defending against Lee Moriarty, plus Jun Akiyama and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Eddie Kingston and Ortiz, which was the main event.
