While the young Serbian midfielder Ivan Ilić is preparing to undergo his medical examination in Turin before officially committing to Torino, Hellas Verona is busy behind the scenes to find a sizeable successor in his battle for maintenance. According to our information, the main target targeted by the Gialloblu would be called Abdou Harroui (25), central midfielder who plays in Sassuolo. Long interested in his services, Sampdoria has stopped negotiations and has now abandoned this lead.
Barred in the rotation by Hamed Junior Traorè, Davide Frattesi or even Pedro Obiang, the Dutch-Moroccan midfielder could therefore bounce back in Verona, while the management of Sassuolo had paid the sum of 3 million last summer after a successful loan for the season spent with the Neroverdi. Still according to our indiscretions, the negotiations would get stuck for the moment on the form of the transaction: Verona wants a loan, Sassuolo is aiming for a direct sale. As a reminder, Abdou Harroui has only started twice out of his 18 league appearances this year.
