Benfica’s Brazilian centre-back João Victor is close to joining FC Nantes, according to reports The Team. The 24-year-old is expected to join the Canaries on a loan with no option to buy. It would be the third Nantes recruit in this winter transfer window after the arrivals of Florent Mollet and Jaouen Hadjam.
Injured at the start of the season, the former Corinthians player is looking for playing time. Under contract until 2027 with the Lisbon club, João Victor has played very few games with Benfica since his arrival (only three cup matches).
