WWE SmackDown Viewership and Key Demo Rating for the Post-Crown Jewel Episode on Veteran’s Day

Friday’s taped Crown Jewel go-home edition of WWE SmackDown drew an average of 2.264 million viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen, via Showbuzz Daily.

This final number is up 6.24% from the previous week’s final viewership of 2.131 million viewers for the taped Crown Jewel go-home show.

Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.58 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is up 20.83% from the previous week’s 0.48 rating. This past week’s 0.52 key demo rating represents 757,000 18-49 viewers, which is up 20.93% from the 626,000 18-49 viewers that the previous week’s 0.48 key demo rating drew, according to Wrestlenomics.

SmackDown ranked #1 in ratings for the key 18-49 demographic on network TV, even with the previous week’s #1 ranking. SmackDown ranked #2 in the 18-34 demo this week, up from the previous week’s #4 ranking. SmackDown ranked #1 in the 25-54 demo, up from the previous week’s #3 ranking. SmackDown came in at #7 for the night in viewership on network TV, up from the previous week’s #8 ranking. While SmackDown topped the night on network TV in the key demographic, Shark Tank on ABC topped the night in viewership with 3.611 million viewers, also drawing a 0.51 key demo rating.

Friday’s SmackDown drew the highest key demo rating since September 23, and the highest total audience since the post-Extreme Rules show on October 24. SmackDown drew the seventh-highest total audience of the year so far, and the sixth-highest key demo rating of the year so far, tied with two other episodes. Sports competition from Friday included one College Basketball game on ESPN, one College Basketball game on ESPNU, one College Basketball game on FS1, one Women’s College Basketball game on ESPN2, one NBA game on ESPN, one NBA game on NBA-TV, one College Football game on ESPN2, one College Football game on FS1, and Charles Schwab Cup coverage on The Golf Channel. Friday’s viewership was up 6.24% from the previous week’s episode, while the key demo rating was up 20.83% from the previous week’s episode.

Viewership for Friday’s SmackDown episode was up 7.6% from the same week in 2021, while Friday’s 18-49 key demo rating was up 3.57% from the same week in 2021.

The College Basketball game between the Gonzaga and Michigan State on ESPN topped the night on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.38 key demo rating, also drawing 1.478 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.646 million viewers, also drawing a 0.19 key demo rating for the #13 spot on the Cable Top 150.

Friday’s post-Crown Jewel & Veteran’s Day edition of SmackDown aired live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – fallout from Crown Jewel, The Usos defending the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The New Day in the opener, the beginning of the World Cup tournament with Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Santos Escobar, a Six-Pack Challenge to determine the new #1 contender to SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey with Liv Morgan, Xia Li, Lacey Evans, Sonya Deville, Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was advertised locally but not announced by WWE. The main event show-closing segment ended up being an in-ring promo with The Bloodline.
