According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew an average of 1.987 million viewers overnight, a decrease of 14.6% from the previous week’s show. They scored a 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was third for the night. The large drop is most likely attributed to Thanksgiving weekend, and was the first outing from the blue-brand since last Sunday’s Survivor Series pay per view.
Overall the program finished 10th in total viewership falling behind Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, 20/20, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, CBS News Sunday Morning, Blue Bloods, Minions Holiday Special, Dateline NBC, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which finished #1 on the evening with just under 4 million viewers.
Full ratings will be out on Monday.
