During last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown from San Jose’s SAP Center, WWE announced to the live crowd that they will be returning to the SAP Center on July 19th for their annual Extreme Rules pay per view. Some pre-sale tickets have already surfaced online, which you can get here.
Last year’s event saw former Universal champion Seth Rollins team up with Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch to face off against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a mixed match headliner. The show was best remembered for Corbin delivering his signature End of Days finisher to Lynch during that bout, an action that caused the future King of the Ring to receive a ton of heat. Brock Lesnar would cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Rollins later in the evening to become a three-time Universal champion.
