NXT stalwarts Undisputed Era appeared at the end of NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool and invaded the ring. The group took out members of the Imperium group; WALTER, Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner.
WALTER had just defeated Joe Coffey to defend his WWE United Kingdom Championship. As the Imperium team celebrated in the ring Undisputed Era appeared from out of the crowd and attacked the four members of the group. The crowd in attendance were firmly behind Undisputed Era, with the aforementioned main event of the show going extremely long and the crowd being very quiet by the end.
Undisputed Era will now face Imperium at the World Collide event.
