While he had just made his return to the lawns of Serie A with two successive appearances against Torino (4-2) and Roma (0-1), the Juventus Turin midfielder relapsed before the reception this Sunday of Sampdoria Genoa (4-2) as part of the 26th day of the Italian championship. Absent from the Turin group when he was to make his return after being sidelined for disciplinary reasons, Pogba suffers from a muscular problem. “He hurt his adductor while taking free kicks. We’ll see the extent of the damage. He could give us a hand but that’s how it is”had dropped Massimiliano Allegri on Sunday at the microphone of DAZN.
Yet another unavailability
Recovered from a long knee injury, the French international will still spend time in the infirmary. According to the Italian media, the former Manchester United player will be out for about three weeks and will notably miss the next gathering of the France team. As a reminder, the Blues will face the Netherlands (March 24) and Ireland (March 27) as part of the qualifications for Euro 2024.
The pressure of his coach
As a reminder, Pogba has barely played since returning to Piedmont last summer. Even if he had arrived free after the end of his adventure with Manchester United, the midfielder is very expensive for his management in terms of salary.
