Go from dream to nightmare. The OGC Nice season could be summed up with these few words. While the Nice club could experience a historic 2022-2023 exercise with a possible qualification for the semi-finals of the Europa League Conference, a first for the Riviera club, Didier Digard’s players were finally eliminated by Basel in the quarter-finals of final of the competition after a very disappointing return match in his lair at the Allianz Riviera.
And when the ship sinks, it is the captain who is directly targeted. Didier Digard is therefore currently experiencing his most complicated period on the side of OGC Nice. Especially with the noise that the Galtier affair has made in recent weeks. And the leaders of the Riviera club are already probing several avenues to replace the French technician. Nevertheless, the latter still enjoys a lot of support at the club, including his locker room, as revealed by our colleagues from RMC. To be continued…
