Speculation on Heyman/Reigns and AJ Styles Being Drafted To Opposite Brands Soon

on

Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw Roman Reigns reveal his new pairing with long-time manager Paul Heyman, which was the former Raw executive director’s first appearance since WrestleMania 36 when he was in the corner of Brock Lesnar. Heyman’s return to the blue-brand creates an interesting dynamic, especially considering he is on the same show as AJ Styles, who recently called out Heyman for being dishonest backstage in the wake of friends Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson being released from the company back in April.

The Wrestling Observer notes that either Styles or Reigns/Heyman may move brands once the rumored WWE draft occurs in the following months. The Phenomenal One had made it clear on his Twitch streams that he no longer wants to work with Heyman, and could be used as a top heel on the red-brand for current WWE champion Drew McIntyre. Current reported plans had Styles feuding with Jeff Hardy and a newly returned Sami Zayn for the intercontinental championship, a title that Styles lost to Hardy only a week ago.

We’ll keep you updated on more news now that Heyman and Styles are once again on the same program.
