Arsenal are planning to sell six of their players in the next summer transfer market. This decision would aim to raise enough money to recruit new reinforcements for the 2023-2024 season.

Nuno Tavares OM Marseille

According Calcio Mercato, the London club are currently working on planning their next season with the aim of providing additional options for their coach, Mikel Arteta. The Gunners would also like to remain among the best clubs in Europe. But before looking for new signings, Arsenal would like to sell several players to generate sufficient funds to attract big names.

OM interested in the permanent transfer of Tavares

The Italian media thus reveals that six players are part of the potential sale list. The first would be left-back Kieran Tierney, who has lost importance in the team since Zinchenko’s arrival: he is now the third choice for the left-back position, with the retraining of Tomiyasu. Several clubs have reportedly shown interest in the player which makes his exit quite certain.

Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga is also said to be on the way. Since his arrival, he has failed to live up to expectations. Third on the list would be Portuguese left-back Nuno Tavares, who has been quite successful at Olympique de Marseille but is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans. The French club would be interested in his final arrival.

The young English striker, Folarin Balogun, would also be on the market. His performances at Stade Reims would have attracted the attention of several major European clubs. The London club are also reportedly considering selling Emile Smith Rowe, who lost his place in the squad due to the performances of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. Arsenal would like to transfer Smith Rowe, who has a very good rating in the Premier League. The Gunners would finally like to part ways with Granit Xhaka, whose contract expires in 2024.
