Seth Rollins Talks The Last Dance, Says Lebron James Doesn’t Have The Same Aura As Michael Jordan

on

WWE superstar Seth Rollins was the latest guest on the After The Bell podcast with host Corey Graves. One notable topic discussed by the Monday Night Messiah was ESPN and Netflix’s hit documentary The Last Dance, which focuses on the 1990s Chicago Bulls dynasty and NBA superstar Michael Jordan. Rollins even goes as far as to compare today’s top player Lebron James to Michael Jordan, although he believes that MJ still contained an untouchable aura.

Those guys benefited from having that level of privacy. I think it’s so much better for celebrity, that level of privacy. There aren’t too many guys out there today, actors or athletes, who are super private. There’s an aura about Michael Jordan. Say what you will about LeBron James, who is easily the most talented and influential athlete of our generation, but he doesn’t have the same aura, the same mystique about him. He’s not an enigma. If you sat LeBron down in a decade and did interviews, you might get some good stories, but all this stuff they’re talking about (on The Last Dance) was all stuff the public didn’t know about for decades because there wasn’t so much social media. Every single day wasn’t a new piece of news about Michael Jordan that was able to be corroborated and filmed and put on a TikTok. It was a different era for stars.
