Yesterday, Olympique de Marseille offered Rennes (1-0) at the start of the round of 16 of the Coupe de France and it was the turn of the other Olympique to stand out. After dismissing Metz in the previous round, Olympique Lyonnais crossed swords with the partner club of Chambéry Savoie Football, current resident of National 3. In its Groupama Stadium but as a spectator, the Rhone club bet on a 4-3-3 with Anthony Lopes in the cages behind Saël Kumbedi, Sinaly Diomandé, Dejan Lovren and Nicolas Tagliafico. Corentin Tolisso and Thiago Mendes formed the double pivot. Alone in the lead, Alexandre Lacazette was supported by Tetê, Rayan Cherki and Bradley Barcola.

A very realistic Ligue 1 club and sometimes well helped by Lopes as in his stoppage against a heavy strike from Scarantino (36th). Cherki then distinguished himself from a festival before finding Lacazette who could have offered himself a hat-trick without the beautiful parade of Blachon (38th). Despite the beautiful face shown by Chambéry, Olympique Lyonnais logically came out on top at the break.
