Samoa Joe was a guest on Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Backstage on FS1. As previously reported, Joe has been out of action with a broken right thumb. Renee Young asked Joe for a status update on the injury.
Joe said, “The status update is we’re taking it day by day but the recovery is going well. And hopefully in a few more weeks we’ll be back rocking and rolling.”
Speculation is that Joe should be cleared in time for the Royal Rumble. Joe last wrestled on the September 9th episode of Monday Night Raw.
