WWE Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn took to Twitter earlier today to throw praises to superstar Daniel Bryan, who Zayn defeated on last night’s episode of SmackDown via count out to retain the title. Zayn states that regardless of all his trash talk, he feels honored to have stepped into the ring with Bryan, and even calls him the greatest in-ring performer of this generation.
He writes, “As much as I run my mouth, it is always an absolute privilege to be able to get in the ring with Daniel Bryan. You never know if or when it might happen again. He is, in my opinion, the best in ring performer of our generation. Still it should be noted, I won the match.”
