The SCO of Angers formalized this Wednesday via a press release the resignation of its president Saïd Chabane. At the head of the Anjou club since 2011, the businessman has decided to retire and give way to his son. “The owner of Angers SCO thus decides to gain height and give way to his son Romain Chabane”can we read in the press release, which specifies that Teddy Kefalas is appointed to the post of deputy president.
On January 7, Saïd Chabane was placed in police custody as part of a preliminary investigation opened for “sexual harassment” and “aggravated sexual assault”. Indicted, he should be summoned on June 14 before the Angers Criminal Court, in connection with this case.
