The discussions were long but it is now official: AC Milan formalized this Friday the contract extension of its Portuguese international Rafael Leão (23 years old) until 2028 for an annual salary estimated at 5 million euros. In his first interview on the official channel of the Milanese club, the Portuguese striker wanted to thank the Rossoneri for having been able to surround him with such great players in recent years, in particular Zlatan Ibrahimović:
“I would like to thank the club for retaining the best players in the squad, I am happy to be able to continue playing with them. Ibra, on the other hand, taught me never to give up, having someone with his experience next to me was very important. Before a fundamental game, he tells me to take the field and show everyone what I’m worth. It was incredibly important to my growth.”said Rafael Leão in his interview.
