After their disappointing elimination in the knockout stages of the Champions League, PSG are planning changes for next season. Among the potential targets of the club, the name of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has regularly returned in recent years. The Lazio midfielder still seems to be a priority to strengthen the Parisian team in the coming months.

Towards a transfer of 90 M€?

According to information collected by Fichajes.net, Luis Campos, sporting director of PSG, would not hide his admiration for the 28-year-old player internally. The Portuguese is said to be determined to sign him this summer. To convince Lazio to sell his midfielder, the Parisian club would be ready to make an offer of around 90 million euros.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is under contract with Lazio Roma until June 2024. His contract with Lazio should not be renewed and his situation would arouse the greed of several other major European clubs: Juventus Turin and AC Milan would follow his case closely. However, the two teams do not have the means of PSG to carry out the discussions. Other media reported on Real Madrid’s interest.

Apart from the transfer offer, PSG are reportedly considering significantly increasing the Serbian’s salary to persuade him to leave Italy. The midfielder’s record could be one of the most significant of the summer of 2023, if the negotiations are successful.

As a reminder, Lazio in Rome paid 12 million euros to secure the services of the native of Lleida in the summer of 2015. The Serbian international (41 caps, 7 goals) has so far taken part in 330 matches in the Laziale jersey, in all competitions, for 64 goals and 59 assists.
