Victor Osimhen, Napoli Napoli

If he has so far formalized the recruitment of six new players – Milan Skriniar (Inter Milan), Marco Asensio (Real Madrid), Manuel Ugarte (Sporting Portugal), Kang-in Lee (Real Mallorca), Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich ) and Cher Ndour (Benfica Lisbon) – Paris Saint-Germain have not yet found the lucky one elected to a position, that of number 9. In its quest for a new top striker, the Ile-de-France club is considering in particular a leading center forward in the Italian championship.

De Laurentiis sets an XXL price

The Parisian staff is eyeing Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker from Naples. With this in mind, the Italian media understand that the Parisians have made a new offer to the Azzurri for the 24-year-old goleador, under contract until June 2025 with the 2023 Italian champion. According to information given by Il Mattino, the latest proposal from Paris Saint-Germain is up to 110 million euros. A very good offer, however insufficient in view of the claims of Napoli.

59 goals with Napoli

As relayed by us, the president of Naples Aurelio De Laurentiis says he is ready to part with the native of Lagos, provided that a club lines up a check for 200 million euros. Suffice to say that Paris Saint-Germain is very far from giving satisfaction to the Italian leaders, even if it is obviously not forbidden to believe that the behemoth of Ligue 1 will further increase its offer in the coming weeks.

Recruited by Naples during the summer of 2020 for the sum of 75 million euros, Victor Osimhen has since scored 59 goals in 101 games in all competitions, including 50 goals in 83 Serie A games. Last season, the ex- member of the French championship scored 31 goals in 39 appearances, for a record of 26 goals in 32 Serie A games. Great craftsman of the Scudetto won by the men then trained by Luciano Spalletti, will the Nigerian change the course of his career in the offseason? To be continued…
