Patriots vs. Steelers highlights: Bailey Zappe throws 3rd touchdown of the first half

Bailey Zappe is dealing. Halfway through the second quarter of the New England Patriots’ Thursday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the sophomore quarterback is already up to three touchdown passes.

His third — just like his second — came courtesy of a connection with tight end Hunter Henry. On a 1st-and-10 from the Pittsburgh 24-yard line, Zappe stood tall in the pocket and delivered a perfectly-placed pass to Henry to put his team up 21-3.

For Henry, the catch is another birthday present: he is turning 29 today.

The Patriots’ 18-point lead was not meant to last, however. On the very next drive, the Steelers offense starting showing some signs of life and eventually scored a touchdown to come within 11 of New England.
