New Report On Why WWE Hasn’t Announced Any Matches For TLC Pay Per View

on

According to the Wrestling Observer, the reason WWE has yet to announce any matchups for the upcoming TLC pay per view in Minneapolis is that previous subscription patterns have revealed that WWE Network sign-ups are the biggest on the last day of the show, so there’s no rush in releasing a card too far in advance. Reports are that PPV buys are no longer a concern for Vince McMahon, as that model has only remained important to UFC events and the occasional boxing superfight.

As previously reported, here are some potential matchups for the event:

(*NONE of these have been confirmed by WWE)

1. Charlotte/Becky Lynch versus Kabuki Warriors in a TLC match for the women’s tag team championship
2. Roman Reigns versus Baron Corbin in a TLC match
3. Rusev versus Bobby Lashley
4. The Fiend versus Daniel Bryan or The Fiend versus The Miz for the Universal championship
5. Viking Raiders versus The O.C. for the Raw tag team championship
6. Aleister Black versus Buddy Murphy
7. Shinsuke Nakamura versus Braun Strowman for the Intercontinental championship
8. New Day versus Robert Roode/Dolph Ziggler for the SD tag team championship
9. Seth Rollins versus Kevin Owens

The show takes place on December 15th
