After losing his first name earlier this year, WWE has quietly added it back on his roster profile page. Ali joins Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a list of people who had their names shortened for a small time then quietly returned without reason. Other superstars like Cesaro and Rusev had their names permanently shortened when WWE decided shorter names were better.
There’s no word as of this writing on why the WWE decided to add it back.
