In the semifinals of the Aix-en-Provence ATP Challenger tournament, Andy Murray hit a young spectator with a fast serve that turned out to be an ace as his opponent Harold Mayot failed to return the ball. With sportsmanship, Murray went to the hurt boy and gifted him one of his wristbands. Check out the heartwarming video of the incident below:
One fan on Instagram remarked Murray’s sportsmanship, comparing him with Roger Federer. “Sir Murray, the only one (with Wawrinka) to win THREE GS during the Big 3 era… and he is the english version of Federer (in terms of kindness and charisma),” the fan wrote.

Murray won in straight sets against Harold Mayot, progressing to the final of the tournament, where he beat Tommy Paul in three sets (2/6, 6/1, 6/2). It seems that his gesture brought him luck.
Lately, Murray announced he would enjoy competing for a Wimbledon title again before he exits the tennis scene.
“I also have ambitions of, you know, competing for Wimbledon titles and that sort of stuff, and I know that sitting here today that probably doesn’t sound realistic, but I do believe that that’s a possibility.
I obviously want to do the right thing there. The experiences I have had when I have won Wimbledon has been in 2013 when I didn’t play the French Open and won, and 2016 I had my best French Open and won Wimbledon. It didn’t have an impact necessarily.
It’s impossible to say what the right thing to do is, but obviously it’s a Grand Slam. I would like the opportunity to play,” Murray said.
